Where was interstellar erythrulose detected? The radio observations point to molecular cloud G+0.693−0.027 in the Galactic Centre region, approximately 8.2 kiloparsecs (26,700 light-years) from us.
The locator uses the paper's J2000 pointing direction and approximate distance to place G+0.693−0.027 near the Galactic Centre. The glowing marker and Sun-to-cloud line are enlarged for legibility; they do not show the cloud or the erythrulose emission at physical scale.
