This locator places the ultra-diffuse host galaxy of the Oyashio stream candidate about 115 million light-years away. Its direction and adopted distance come from the published J2000 position and 35.2 ± 2.5 Mpc measurement.
The host-galaxy marker follows the J2000 direction and adopted distance. Its diffuse body and roughly 2 kpc Oyashio candidate are reconstructed from HST/CFHT imagery at an enlarged illustrative scale.
